Hello everybody welcome to another one of these little episodes of papers please where we are stamping papers and trying to not be deported or killed or something or whatever. So this is episode like 13 or something and so if you haven't seen the others I recommend that you go to the beginning of the playlist there's a link in the description to start from the beginning. but because we are going into day number 21 now. We're on this new timeline that we started a couple of episodes ago, or a while ago now, and we're trying just to stay alive, to keep going. It's the 18th, I believe, or 16th, 18, 18. Yeah, we'll have to see what day it is. I'm not exactly positive, but yeah, let's hop into it. We have some interesting things happening. I wrote down that we have to let in Shay, apparently. You can't see that. Shay, we're supposed to let through. So that's all I remember. There was also something about the man in red. I don't remember what that was, though. Oh yeah, so this was, here's the Ezek symbol, right? Mysterious poison hospitalizes several. Remember last time I killed a dude. I killed this dude who we were told that is going to assassinate somebody. And I didn't really know what to do. I denied him and I hit the, given the poison. which mysterious poison hospitalizes several, which means several people are in the hospital because of the poison. And here we have Antegrian whistleblower accepted by Arstotzka. Move risks angering neighbors. So, a whistleblower, as we learned, is somebody who is like telling the truth about something that they shouldn't. And they're from Antegria. And they were accepted by us. I guess that was me, right? I don't remember who that was. Jeez, my memories. This can't be safe for me. A lot of stuff is happening. Anyways, it's the 13th of December, 1982. There's the guards coming in, there's our friend. Okay. A special program for political asylum has been established. Those seeking asylum must carry a valid grant of asylum. Entrants with such grants do not require an entry permit or an ID supplement. Okay, so asylum is when somebody is given the right to stay in a country because they say it's not safe for me in my home country, for whatever reason. Either because there's war, or because there is political unsafety, or in this case, if another country is doing something bad, That person might say, I want to tell you or I want to help you make my country stop doing this thing, but they're going to kill me if I stay or I'm going to have a terrible life. So I will help you if I can stay here, please. It's usually easier to stay somewhere because you're in danger otherwise. And they don't need an entry permit or an ID supplement. They do need a passport. And it has to be valid. So here's the criminals of the day. And then here's the stuff about the news. Yeah, yada, yada, yada. Okay. So, let's just go here. I've got my tab. I've got my space bar. Yeah, we're good to go. All right, here is a guy. Papers, please. Coming for a visit. He's got a mustache. Remaining for 30 days. One month. Visit. Okay. Enter buys the future. Those numbers match up. He looks... Close enough, he's got a different hairdo, but yeah, that's him. So his name is Alme Espen. Great mustache, 59 kilograms, 161 centimeters tall. Okay, expiration is in three days. Great, this expires in the future, Boston. All of that looks good to me. That's the right sign. I see no issues. Espen, have a good rest of your day. Cause no trouble. I haven't been wrong for a while, so... We're doing well, I think. Ooh, I'm seeking asylum. Okay, so our first asylum person, we have to fingerprint them to make sure that it's them. But this is, oh, this is that lady in the news, isn't it? Wasn't that her? Oh, yes, she's not there anymore, but I'm pretty sure that was her. So I think this is gonna be fine. Yeah, so this is her Lena Stake. Lena Stake. Antegria, those match. Date of birth, that matches. Height, 64, 63. That's her. Offer expires in a couple days. That expires out of grouse. Looks good. Documents, grain of asylum. Yeah, so okay, the same seals that are good on entry permits are good on Creative Asylum, yeah. That's handy. So everything looks good here. I think this is the test person. Thank you, she says. I hope that things are better here. I hope that things are better for you too. But things are not perfect, so we'll see. All right, another person also looking for asylum. Asylum, 72 kilograms, 173, 1934, 613, those match. Jonathan Mayadowski. Jonathan Mayadowski, Jonathan Mayadowski. Date of birth matches, I already checked that. Those numbers match up. United Federation, great. This kinda look different. Is that him? Yeah, okay, that's all him. Yeah, okay. Ooh, offer expired. Ooh. The document is expired, there's nothing I could do. I'm not supposed to let you through, my guy. That sucks. You had a, everything else is good, but your document had expired, what, like six days ago? A couple days ago? Rough. Red stamp? Give me a red stamp. I am serious. I have better job offer in import, red stamp, and I can break contracts in Arstotzka. 10 credits for you. He wants me to deny him. All right, I mean, you, You could have just like not given me a document. Now I get free from this bad job. Thanks. All right. Um, so I'm going to get a citation because he had everything cleared, but you could have just not given me a document and not, I would have, could have, would have stamped you wrong. Um, Okay. Estra Beresfora. Yep, that looks good. Date of birth, 6-13-45. Female, 188 centimeters, 58 kilograms. Altan District, East Grestin, 84. Yeah, that looks like her as well. I think this looks fine. I see no issues there. Glory Tuarostovskaya. Oh, what was wrong? Invalid height? Invalid height, she was 180 centimeters. There's little time. Wait, what did he say? But hear me out, there's a little time. I must enter today. I come back in three days with the right papers. To prove, I give you something important. It is a family treasure, fully digital. You hold it as collateral. I'll be back to pick it up. And take this, all for green stamp. Do I just keep letting people through? I'm sorry, dude, I can't. I just accidentally let that lady through who shouldn't have been let through. But you're missing some papers. Yes, I told you this. I can't. Oh, I can't give it to you. I'm sorry. I feel bad. He said, Arstotzkan bastard at the end, which is an insult, right? He really wanted me to let him through, but I gave him the money. I didn't want the money. Hard. Burnton District, Katerina does not really look like a traditional woman. Why do you ask, he asks, or she asks. Katerina Najkovic. 12, 13, 42, 55 kilograms, 172. Nope, all right, just a very masculine looking woman, I guess. 172 centimeters, yep. Invalid height. Invalid height, my ass. What do you mean invalid height? That person was the right height. Ridiculous. Okay, visiting friends, but you have a work permit. Visit friends. Oh my god! What is happening? This person is attacking. Oh, jeez. My word, Hikibiri. That was some craziness that has happened. I was very distracted by that person's document. But another person... My sister has been arrested? Her daughter needs a home? Why was my sister arrested? Uh, so arrested is when the police take you away. Um, yeah, I mean, well, take in the little girl, adopt in my niece, which is the daughter of my sister. Um, and, but, because thankfully I've got all this money from the easy mode crutch. And, but, jeez, what a crazy, like, two minutes that just happened. But we're getting into the next day here, December 14th, 1982. There was a daring bike attack at the Grestin checkpoint. Extremists growing bolder. So extremists are people that will attack very aggressively and they're very extreme in their beliefs. Growing bolder, they're getting braver and stronger, or not necessarily stronger, but braver. And Grestin is like a magnet, so that place we are is attracting these extremists. And then the Antegrian whistleblower arrives. So the person that was going to tell about all the bad things that were happening in Antegria disappears immediately. So she vanished. She was probably kidnapped or attacked or killed or something, which is not great. So let's get into another day here. It's December 14th, 1982. And again, the guard is coming to talk to us. There's more action at this checkpoint than in a war. I fought in Kalachia for five years. If you think this is bad in Arstotzka, it is ten times worse in Kalachia. I do not blame them for coming here. Anyways, you're doing well. Keep it up. Thanks, dude. Very nice of you. But he's basically saying that this is crazier than in the war, or in a war, which is... So, let's start the day. This is very interesting, we could say. So purpose is just to visit, ran for 12 weeks, that's three months. Enter buys in the future, that matches, that matches. Joaquim, oh, his names are completely different. Tully Grimsky and Joaquin Ferreira. Oops, what am I doing? All right, you got different names, sure. Oops. All right, this match, so 20. He's got a widow's peak. Oh, look, yeah, you just have two names. Goalie Grimsky, Tully Grimsky and Joaquin Ferreira. 87 kilograms, 175. Widow's Peak is this, that sort of peak right there, that thing. All right, well, if you've got two names that are just totally different, that's a little weird, but sure, works for me. All right, next person here. Papers, please. Ooh, my presence was requested. So a diplomatic authorization, which is valid with the country page. So I go to United Fed, United Federation Diplomatic Seals. It is that one right down here, which is good. Okay. So Shingleton, Shingleton looks good. Oh, hang on. She's a wanted criminal. Maybe you should not have come. Let me through or you will regret it? Okay. Who do you think you are, she says. Who do you think you are? You're a wanted criminal, apparently, trying to get into the country. Crazy. Uh, Oh, hi again. Remember me? Yeah. You had a different, Oh no, this is, this is this guy. You want this back? Listen, I'll tell my coach about this. He's very upset. Save it. I get banner back. I lose the front seat in the team bus. Yeah. Have it. Take it. Yeah. Have it. Oh, thanks. It's more beaten up than I remember. There's even a big tear here. What did you do? Oh, well, coach would be happy that a tear is like as a hole in it, basically. Um, so. My guess is that everything's good. 84 kilograms, 177, same date of birth, Fardesto District. I haven't heard of that one, but I'm sure it exists. Fardesto District, yep. Baradizna, yep. That's in the future. Everything looks fine here. Philip Haas. I thought this was the guy that wanted to give me the watch yesterday, but it was the sports guy. They look really similar. All right, so coming to live with his wife, so he's immigrating forever. He's enter by the future. Those numbers match. Jesper Madsen, Jesper Madsen, great. Mustache, has a mustache. Enter by in the future, 89 kilos, 187 tall. That matches, great. Is that the right stamp? I don't think that's the right stamp. Entry permit. Oh, no, it is the right snap. That's fine. Oh. Wait, no, it's not. What's wrong with it? M-O-L, that's what it says. It says M-O-L. This document is forged. I don't think that he forged this. I think he was probably just given a bogus document from some random person. So, I'm not gonna detain him, but that stinks. So, sorry dude, your document was given to you by somebody who doesn't want to help you. He's passing through. Where's your passport, dude? You need a passiporti. Passy, porty, pleasey, here it is. Why don't you give it to me? Alexi. Alexi Glidevel. Those numbers match up. He said transit two days, pass through two days, yep. Enter by in the future. It's got a beard, 86 kilos, 180 centimeters, yep. That matches. M.O.A. That's the right one, right? We just saw this. I'm, yeah, nearly positive. M.O.A. Yep. That's the right one. Great. And then Lauren Daz, male, future, born in the past, champ, everything looks good. There you go. Cause no trouble. I think we're good there. Let's go. Hey, it's this guy, Georgie. Same procedure. Do you have drugs on you again, Georgie? Do you have drugs? Yep, you do. You're still heavy. What's going on there, Georgie? I see a difference there. It's a real mystery for sure. Turn towards the scanner. Maybe things get too sexy in here. Oh, Georgie, did you bring in more drugs or did you just get fat? All right, nothing there. Georgie, you can't bring in drugs. No weapons or contraband. We talked about this. Is it drugs? Looks like good stuff, right? Wait, I'll give you 10 credits for a stamp. Think about family. You can buy good things with these credits. Just for a little harmless drugs. Georgie, you can't bring in drugs. I'm gonna get in trouble. I don't need this. Sorry. Wow, you're really a stand-up guy. Maybe it's not so good for me when I think about. Um, he's saying that... Oh, denial reason not given?! What do you mean?! Ugh, I didn't put the blue, this blue stamp at the top. Oh, jeez. Where's your identity supplement? Oh, come on. Foreigners require an ID supplement. Do the, do the, give me the supplement. This thing. I never got one. Yes. Friggin, friggin heck, Igor. Too bad. Um, I hope he wasn't important in some way. Um, but he's not Shay. Where's that Shay lady? I was told that Shay was going to come by and I haven't seen her. Um, Andrew Conrad. Conrad Teffin. Why, what does perfect vision mean? I have two different names. Okay. What the hell is perfect vision? Does that mean that he doesn't wear glasses? Okay, see, that's you, but you don't have a known alias. I'll have to do these. Oh, no known alias in this one. There we go. I have no record of his name. Oh. Okay, got the denial reason on there. Take your documents and get out of here. Still mad that I missed the denial reason on Georgie. He had drugs. We're not supposed to let in drugs. Here's this lady with the small head again. Okay, asylum. All right, take that. Bukhar, jealous. Okay, that matches, so offer expires in the future, 49 kilos, 166, date of birth is matching, numbers matching, that's in the future, Lestrandi, Lesrenadi, Jayless Booker, and I think that's fine. Everything looks okay to me, cause no trouble. Wow, all right, there we go, did we get a citation? Nope, we are good for day number 22. And they're offering us a class six apartment, which has higher rent, but cheaper heat, which doesn't save us much money. So I don't think it's worth it. But the niece brought 100 credits, wow. Maybe we should move. We have, like, that was a very generous thing. Yeah, let's move to the new apartment because then we have a little bit more space for our entire family. And we've got plenty of money thanks to this easy mode crutch, as I've said a billion times. I kind of regret doing it because it's a less interesting game. But I want you to play this game. I want you to play this game and make your own decisions and see that it's hard. It's a really, really good game when you play it on normal mode, so. Yeah, anyways, that is everything for today. I hope that you learned a couple of new words, maybe whistleblower or niece or what else was in the paper? I don't know. But that's everything for today. I hope that you enjoyed and I'll see you in the next episode.
